Formal Mess...

A mix of both creative writing and essays on subjects that I find interesting. Occasional political rants and cardbord satire.

to say....

Bonjour,
Just recently, I have discovered that I am not as keen on the idea of religion as many people say you have to be, I do believe in people and the concept of a higher power, But do not agree with religion and specifically christianity as a literal form of worship.
The fact that religion has provided the topics and fuel behind the death of many innocent people is my main concern, specifically living in northern Ireland offers you as a fragile person the chance to see how the informal quarrels over technicalities in religion can lead to eradicated violence.
I have not some to this conclusion because of a sudden change in heart, or because I am rebelling against some form of social collective culture, I simply think believe in different things, because everyone wants to believe, both the fundamentalist christians and atheists believe strongly in there point of view, although it does differ.
Without religion we as humans and people will probable find something else to fight about, we would fight over money or class, race, culture, music, films and anything else. This is what makes us special.
There are some people who would disagree with what I am saying, if I am actually saying anything at all, thats fine and you are obviously entitled to your opinion, as I am entitled to mine.
I am not sure why I posted an entry my possible disbelief in god, but I find that its a topic of discussion I would like to endeavor into, at the moment though, its hard to talk to anyone about this subject.
All I wanted to say was that I believe in the theory of evolution, but I put my faith in something that could possibly not exist.
